On this, our first album release, we feature:
David Atcher
who is originally from Louisville, but has lived in Lexington for over 20 years where he has been heavily involved in the old-time music, contra dance and Irish music communities. He has crossed musical paths with Art and Robert for many years. David first heard Irish music from two of the masters, Kevin Burke and Micheal O Domhnaill, while pursuing a medical residency in Seattle in 1979. On this CD, David plays guitar (cuts 7, 8, 9), mandolin (4) and Irish tenor banjo (3, 10).
